BC Acoustique Crossover
BC Acoustique has created the ideal crossover. The ACT series uses a fairly low slope crossover. Most manufactures use a relatively high slope crossover which preserves a more linear frequency response however a low slope crossover which BC Acoustique incorporates is the only way to limit differences in phase and preserve the cohesion of the sound image. In order to maintain a linear frequency response BC Acoustique found a solution in the drivers. The membranes used in the drivers are made of polypropylene which allows BC Acoustique to use a low slope crossover.
